For 2011, the Mazda6 undergoes trim changes, with all models receiving improved fuel economy, and various new standard features. Electronic stability control, previously optional on the base GS-I4, is now included on all models.

A revised GS-I4 Comfort Package adds six-CD/MP3 stereo, dual-zone automatic climate controls and sequential welcoming illumination, and deletes the passenger one-touch up/down window feature. The GT-I4 Luxury Package now adds manual foldable mirrors with integrated turn signals, driver’s auto-dimming mirror, driver’s memory seat and rear-view camera, and deletes the passenger auto-dimming mirror.

The Mazda6 is available with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with six-speed manual or optional five-speed automatic transmission, or with a 3.7-litre V6 with six-speed automatic transmission. Both engines are available in GS or GT trim.

Features on the GS-I4 include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, heated mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, tire pressure monitoring system, automatic headlamps, CD/MP3 stereo, Bluetooth with Audio Profile, auxiliary audio input, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, driver’s one-touch up/down window, speed-sensing door locks, keyless entry, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, floor mats, active front head restraints, anti-theft alarm, and locking illuminated glove compartment.

The GT-I4 adds 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, bright bumper moulding, xenon headlamps with manual levelling, fog lamps, LED taillights, six-CD/MP3 stereo, sequential welcoming illumination, power sunroof, auto-dimming mirror, garage door opener, eight-way power driver’s seat, heated leather seats, leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, and electroluminescent gauges.

The GS-V6 is equipped similarly to the GS-I4, but adds dual-zone automatic climate control, fog lights, LED taillights, chrome dual exhaust, six-CD/MP3 stereo, sequential welcoming illumination, power sunroof, power driver’s seat, and leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel.

The GT-V6 adds 18-inch alloy wheels, bright bumper moulding, auto-dimming driver’s side mirror, foldable mirrors with integrated turn signals, xenon headlamps with manual levelling, puddle lamps, Bose premium audio system, Sirius satellite radio, rear-view camera, Intelligent Key with pushbutton start, auto-dimming mirror, garage door opener, blind spot monitoring system, audio display screen, four-way power passenger seat, driver’s side memory, leather upholstery, and electroluminescent gauges.
