For 2012, the Ferrari 458 Italia is joined by the 458 Spider, which includes a retractable hardtop.
The 458 Italia models use a 4.5-litre V8 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission, the first direct-injection Ferrari engine to be mid-rear mounted.
Standard or optional features include 20-inch alloy wheels, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps, carbon ceramic brakes with painted calipers, tire pressure monitoring system, front and rear parking sensors, auto-dimming rearview mirror, single or dual-tone leather interior, power seats, leather-covered dash panel, leather or Alcantara headliner, iPod connectivity, navigation system, and luggage set.
