For 2012, the Kia Rondo is unchanged.

The Rondo comes with a choice of two engines: a 2.4-litre four-cylinder with four-speed automatic, or a 2.7-litre V6 with five-speed automatic. Both transmissions have manual shift mode. The four-cylinder comes in the five-seater LX, five- or seven-seater EX, and seven-seater EX Premium. The V6 is available in the five- or seven-seater EX-V6, and seven-seater EX-V6 Luxury.

Features on the LX include 16-inch alloy wheels, auto-off headlights, body-colour door handles, power mirrors, variable intermittent wipers, rear washer/wiper, front and rear mud guards, six-way manual driver’s seat, cloth upholstery, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input and USB port, Bluetooth connectivity, driver’s auto-down window, power locks, tilt steering column, and floor mats. Air conditioning can be added as an option.

The EX adds air conditioning, chrome grille, fog lights, chrome door handles, heated mirrors, windshield de-icer, heated seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, cruise control, keyless entry, metallic interior accents, and illuminated vanity mirrors. The seven-seat version adds a 50/50 split-folding third-row seat.

The EX Premium adds 17-inch alloy wheels, power sunroof, and heated leather seats.

The EX-V6 is equipped similarly to the EX.

The EX-V6 Luxury builds on the EX-V6 and adds 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic temperature control, power sunroof, eight-way power driver’s seat, heated leather seats, Sirius satellite radio, wireless headphones, rearview camera and trip computer. A navigation system is a further option.
