Teaser video shows new Ford performance model due in less than two weeks
“It’s very important for us to have the street cred to be able to back up what you see in our vehicles in terms of performance with actual results and how we do in racing around to world,” says Mark Fields, the newly-minted CEO of Ford Motor Company, in a recently posted teaser video.
And with Ford coming off a strong year of global competition, especially in new series like Red Bull Global Rally Cross, the Dearborn automaker is setting up to reveal their next performance car on November 17th.
According to multiple outlets, that new car — teased in the video above — is expected to be the Ford Mustang GT350, powered by a rumoured 5.2-litre supercharged V8 under the hood. The date also coincides with the Los Angeles Auto Show opening to media the following day.
The video is one in a series of five that will slowly reveal the new model up until its debut on November 17th.
