Mercedes solidifies AMG sub-brand with AMG GT and C 63 AMG
It’s been a couple of years since we’ve seen a vehicle with a Maybach badge. But, just two years after killing the brand, Mercedes is bringing it back by way of an exclusive S-Class model.
The new Mercedes-Maybach S 600 transforms the rear of the car where its owners will likely spend most of their time. And even though it’s powered by a 6.0L bi turbo V12 with 523 hp and 612 lb-ft of torque, Mercedes says it will be one of the quietest vehicles to ever be produced.
Further cementing Mercedes’ new sub-brand plan were the Mercedes-AMG GT and C 63 AMG making appearances at the Los Angeles Auto Show before the new Maybach.
We will have full details on the Maybach S 600 closer to launch next year.
