Hyundai’s mid-size sedan grows up in size and appearance
The current Hyundai Sonata helped the Korean automaker turn the tide in their favour here in the North American market. Whether you like the design or not is beside the point as we all at least noticed it.
Going into 2015, things are about to change, as Hyundai has taken a more grown up approach to their bread-and-butter sedan. Instead of an evolution of the current design, Hyundai has elected to give the next Sonata lines similar to the next Genesis, all in a wrapper that’s now 35 mm longer and 30 mm wider.
While Hyundai has released a massive press release (which can be seen in the comments), we’ll hold off on explaining the details until we get some solid Canadian specific info, probably next month during the New York International Auto Show.
