Golf GTD All But Confirmed For Canadian Consumption

While no timeline has been set for when it’ll appear, all signs for Golf GTD sales in Canada point to yes.

Rumours have been swirling of Golf GTD sale south of the border with Automotive News confirming the vehicle for the US on Monday. But, will it come to Canada? Yes. When? We’re not sure.

Speaking with Thomas Tetzlaff, Manager of Media Relations for Volkswagen Canada, the Golf GTD is all but confirmed for northern consumption.

“We are very much involved with the development process for this vehicle and have indicated our strong desire for its entry into our market,” explained Tetzlaff over email. “At this point in time, there is no firm timeline for the project.”
