EDIT: We’ve added three more photos from the GM media database.
Cadillac has given us the first official look at the successor to its SRX mid-size crossover, the XT5. Well, we use the words ‘first’ and ‘official’ loosely, since the car was spotted completely undisguised in New York earlier this summer.
The latest images, posted to the brand’s social media pages, actually show less detail than those earlier photos and GM has provided no specifications, so all we know is that the XT5 looks like an SRX wearing styling elements that link it to other recent models like the ATS and CTS.
We’ll know more after the XT5’s official reveal at November’s Dubai auto show, but we expect engine choices to include a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.6L V6, both borrowed from the ATS/CTS along with a six-speed automatic transmission.
