“It’s time for the V-Series to elevate to the next level,” says press conference invite
The next Cadillac CTS-V is set to debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit according says a press conference invite that was sent to AutoBlog.
“It’s time for the V-Series to elevate to the next level,” states the invitation, setting the tone for what could be a very different sedan than the last 556 hp supercharged V8 model. But, no specifics were given.
With cars under $100,000 now reaching north of 700 hp, like in the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, the next CTS-V could crank up the horsepower considerably by way of a version of the Corvette Z06‘s 650 hp supercharged V8.
Currently, the most horsepower you can get in the current generation CTS is 420 hp from the twin-turbocharged V6 Vsport model.
We will know the specifics on the Cadillac CTS-V next month.
