Look at the rendering.  The hood arcs down in a curve, JUST LIKE THE 78-ish Civic.  Look at the shape of the rear quarter window and the curve of the C-Pillar?  JUST LIKE THE 78-ish Civic.  The sharp lines of the Golf/Rabbit are absent.  See how pronounced the fender lips are on the old Civic?  Just like the EV drawing.

Have to make sure he knows that the Civic was released in 1972 I assume as a 1973 model year while the first VW Golf was a 1974 model before he accuses Honda of copying VW.
