No one likes either of you.  We just pretend.  So go get a room, you two bromancers, and don't come out.

Depending on what happens in that room, maybe they'll both come out...

Only one will come out...because Fight Club!   :rofl2:

How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Congrats! +1 on the classic stick+Wimbledon White combo.

Brought one home a few years ago - white V6 auto 'vert - and I love their old-school vibe. A Camaro would be a hard sell for me - gun-slit windows and an interior designed by the guy who did the Civic Hatchback. Nope.

Ford is coming up with a hybrid Mustang soon. Blasphemy, yes, but that should future-proof the ponycar.

Congrats man, that is a great ride.

When I drop off my son at school, there's another dad that drives a similar car but in black with red stripes.  Makes me happy that dad's aren't relegated to pedestrian cars when kids come.  ;D

I drive by a school every day. Its hilarious, there are quite a few parents that have bucked the sad, beige minivan sentence and there are SRT8 Jeeps, WRX/STI, there is a guy with an Escalade with a Callaway SC560 badge, SS/GT Camaros and Mustangs.....lots of cool stuff.
Lighten up Francis.....

At my son's school, from what I remember, there's an SQ5, an F82 M4, and a GC SRT.  The rest have suffered the beige minivan/CUV sentence  :rofl2:

School run here is mostly midsize CUVs, quad cab pickups, and a few midsize sedans. Most are appliance white, followed by grey/silver and black. A few are posh brands, most are Toyota, GM, Ford.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Thanks!  As you said, we're all enthusiasts so having a vehicle that places a smile on my face on a daily basis is a huge win.

Daycare/Library run at my neck of woods is all trucks, CUVs, and very few minivans.

I have to say that I'm the only one with an "impractical" 2-door RWD vehicle.  I do get lots of looks of horror and admiration (not sure which) when I have to crawl in the back to get my toddler out.  Makes me actually happy.   :rofl2:

Same, not sure if its scorn or envy, but either way I'm more than willing to deal the minor inconvenience of crawling in the back seat to get my two boys if it means I still get to drive a "fun" car instead of a boring beige appliance.

heard an interesting sound on the way to work this morning...a little turbo whistle with some barky/poppy exhaust...look beside and its a new(er) Mustang with the Ecoboost engine...it sound OK, but just doesn't fit that car...if it were a Sentra SR, Elantra Sport Turbo or GTI, it would have matched...a Mustang though?...no...just, no.

Agreed.  Turbo belongs in Subarus and hot hatches, not in muscle cars.

And pretty seen you'll be able to option it with a hybrid, which would be interesting.

Oh really?  The next GT500 is going to have a turbocharged V8.

So that's garbage you say?   :stick:

I'm an NA guy all the way.  That's why I'd rather have the GT350 than a ZL1.  Maybe I'll change my mind but I like simple things in life.
