Congrats on the new car!  Another forum person putting their money where their mouse is...

My kid has a '13 CS and his has 3.73's - I was under the impression that wasn't an option on the CS, or maybe it was.  I don't know that I wouldn't get them, despite Matt Farrah also saying they're too steep...I mean he (my kid) gets the same average as my Fusion and if he drives a longer trip...it's actually better.  He'll see low 8's at 110 kmh...that's just stupid for a 420 hp car.  And it's fast as Helsinki.  My wife likes it so much she's said our (her) next car is going to be a Mustang.  Can't say I'm going to argue with her.  ;D WAF is apparently way up on the '13.  A new one should be even more awesome...so...10 yrs from now...when I'm 60... :'( :P Hope I still care to drive it.

Congrats on your new purchase.  Love those wheels.

Correct.  Does your car have it as well?

Yes, included with the premium trim from the start, IIRC.  I thought it was a bit cheesy, but it might be the feature that gets the most "oohs".  That and the sequential turn signals.

BTW, noticed the red stitching in your car...is that part of the C/S package?  That's pretty cool.

I went with the 3.55 gears b/c I knew I was going to change the wheels to 19" in PP sizes, which are slightly taller and heavier.  This is my first 6-speed and I wasn't used to the 1-2-3-4-5---6 gear spacing, but 3.55 turned out to the right decision.

To be honest, I don't even know why they offer 3.31 in the GT.  Maybe for fuel economy purposes?  But who buys a Mustang GT to achieve the best fuel economy?  LOL.

Congrats on your new purchase.  Love those wheels.

Thank you.  The wheels were the primary factor in me getting the California Special.  The black on silver spokes look terrific.

Congrats on the new car!  Another forum person putting their money where their mouse is...

Wow, that's surprisingly good fuel economy.  3.73s are short gear, meaning that 3.55 and 3.31 would yield even better fuel economy on highways.

One thing I did notice is that the car is at 1,400 rpm at 80 km/h in 6th.  Wow.  The 6th is super long and I wouldn't use it unless I'm going over 100 km/h.  If I do a long road trip, I'll report back on my mileage just for sake of comparison.

   Congrats!

Both Sir O and Sear Burger should get a Mustang.  Problem solved.

Pony projection lights are excellent especially at night.  They're simply puddle lamps but they look amazing.

C/S package has different seats: they're leather with suede inserts.  I find them to be more comfortable than the regular seats.

You're confusing him with another Mustang owner.  This one is a REAL 5.0.

Your mileage will improve if you drive in 6th...as my kid does.  1st, 2nd, 3rd...6th.  He's his own version of skip shift.  I should be old...but if I were driving it, I'd probably rarely leave 3rd in the city...maybe 4th.  You've got to be ready to scoot out of whatever you need to scoot out of. Right?  Doubt's I'd ever have a tank that returns anywhere near 10 as an average...probably be worse than my truck. Otherwise, what's the point?

No one likes either of you.  We just pretend.  So go get a room, you two bromancers, and don't come out.

Depending on what happens in that room, maybe they'll both come out...
I'd rather be car-poor than house-poor...
