By the way I had BG fluid in both my TL and my wife's MDX and I will attest to its awesomeness.
Good to hear. Their can of engine cleaner is the best IMO..lots of great products.

IQ wants the BG fluid in her IS
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Congrats!  That's a great looking car, if I do say so myself.  My '15 is almost spec'd out the same; white, 6-speed, premium, 3.55 gears.  Passed on the Performance Pack and Recaros for the same reasons you did.

You're going to really enjoy the car.  One aspect I wasn't aware of at first is the incredible aftermarket support for these cars.  If you enjoy customizing and tinkering with your car, the Mustang is hard to beat.

MotoIQ has a few Mustang projects. Great resource for staged upgrades.

In fact, they tested a new exhaust today http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticles/ID/4615/TESTED-Ford-Performance-Cat-Back-Exhaust-and-GT350-Valence.aspx

Looks beautiful, sexy and classy at the same time. I remember the feeling you described, having owned four of them. By all means do rrockets' gear oil suggestion. Also there are various linkage enhancements, Ford OEM is ridiculously cheap and not improved for years.

That looks awesome! Nicely specced as well.

With $10k off I wonder how something like this would lease. If you can get a good interest rate and the residual is decent that could be an awesome deal.

Looking good, man. I like the white with all the black contrasts. The package you went with seems perfect given your wants and this will be a good everyday car.

If you're driving a naturally aspirated V8 you're a friend of mine!  [emoji14]
My car is V8 and black on black like yours. Am I in your  VIP friend group?  [emoji1]

Does it count if the V8 is in a truck , it has black leather interior  ;D

Nice choice and looks good!

I too dig the white.

Is that hood part of the California Special package?

How is that 'pony' emitted to the ground?  From the door?  On both sides?

Projectors in both side mirrors.

And it's got all its badges!   :D

Fricking gorgeous.  Well done.  Stay out of trouble!   ;D

It appears that some people have deliberately removed badges and changed hoods to be under the radar?

Sweet ride! Pure American muscle.

Another member on here just got his Camaro SS. You guys should race.  >:D

It won't be much of a race; Mango's SS will walk all over the GT.

Sweet.
White is definitely the way to go on the new Mustang.
And, i love my MX-5, but if (hopefully when..) i get another toy somewhere down the road, it will have a V8.

Do it while it's still cost effective.  Pretty soon, a NA V8 will not come cheap.

Nice!

Transmission fix here:  http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticles/ID/4590/TESTED-BG-Syncro-Shift-II-Gear-Oil.aspx

This is great, rocket.  Thank you.  I'll look into it.

looks awesome...congrats...i had an 87 Mustang back in the day (shhhh, it was the 2.3L 4 cyl model...hey, i was broke at the time, cut me some slack)...as much of a beater that car was, i still really liked it (as well, the least expensive car i've ever owned in terms of purchase price and operating costs)...i'd love a new one, but not sure if that is in the cards...if i were to get one, i'd likely spec it out the same as you, but i really like the yellow colour...for myself, i prefer the Mustang over the Camaro, but obviously, both are very good cars.

Looking good, man. I like the white with all the black contrasts. The package you went with seems perfect given your wants and this will be a good everyday car.

If you're driving a naturally aspirated V8 you're a friend of mine!  :P

To be honest, after I spoke with you and saw your car I knew I had to get a V8 before it is too late.  These cars are a dying breed and we need to save the manuals; I'm happy that you and I share that sentiment.

Congrats!  That's a great looking car, if I do say so myself.  My '15 is almost spec'd out the same; white, 6-speed, premium, 3.55 gears.  Passed on the Performance Pack and Recaros for the same reasons you did.

I saw your show 'n shine post and your car looks great!

3.55 is the way to go.  3.31 was way too long and it felt a bit bogged down during city driving.

Looks beautiful, sexy and classy at the same time. I remember the feeling you described, having owned four of them. By all means do rrockets' gear oil suggestion. Also there are various linkage enhancements, Ford OEM is ridiculously cheap and not improved for years.

What do you recommend, Doug?  Other than the transmission oil change, it seems that the car is almost perfect based on my driving (cap)abilities.

That looks awesome! Nicely specced as well.

With $10k off I wonder how something like this would lease. If you can get a good interest rate and the residual is decent that could be an awesome deal.

I believe it would've been roughly $560 a month for 36-month low km lease with $0 down at 1.99%.  Residuals are too low on this vehicle resulting in a higher monthly payment.

Nice choice and looks good!

I too dig the white.

Is that hood part of the California Special package?

Thanks.  Yes, it's part of the CS package.  CS package adds front strut tower bar, different seats, different interior, ofcourse the 19" superb wheels, and few other things.

Correct.  Does your car have it as well?

Correct.  Does your car have it as well?

Yes, included with the premium trim from the start, IIRC.  I thought it was a bit cheesy, but it might be the feature that gets the most "oohs".  That and the sequential turn signals.

BTW, noticed the red stitching in your car...is that part of the C/S package?  That's pretty cool.

I went with the 3.55 gears b/c I knew I was going to change the wheels to 19" in PP sizes, which are slightly taller and heavier.  This is my first 6-speed and I wasn't used to the 1-2-3-4-5---6 gear spacing, but 3.55 turned out to the right decision.
