small? Its the right size for the segment, and personally to me it is huge.

Got to check one out yesterday, nice car with a very attractive interior.

Ditto on size. My car pooling days will be behind me by the time my next car purchase rolls around. So I won't need anything bigger than this.  The hatch configuration of the Stinger really does hold appeal for me though.

i haven't been in one, but it's likely the perfect size for me...as long as it isn't smaller than my Rio5, i'm good. :)

The red G70 to the left is stunning.
it's the colour i'd likely pick (i love the blue too, but my wife's Sorento is blue and we don't want two blue cars)...plus, with the Red, you can get that red stitching inside with the top trim...looks especially sharp.

Red G70 with graphite wheels is total hotness.  Still think I'd go for Nurburgreen though.

It’s like Mazda’s soul red, it goes from deep red to bright red depending on the angle. Its a gorgeous paint colour. It’s a real shame more people aren’t buying these and I think it’s the fact that people just aren’t aware.

Even how much I really like this car I would have to take a pass just because all the dealers are > 75 kms away from me and it isn't like I live in the boonies or the Maritimes.

yup...as we suspected...the manual with the 2.0T is meh.

the real goodness is in the 3.3T AWD.

The Sport weighs 3688lbs.  250hp isn't a whole lot to motivate that amount of weight in the sport sedan category.  It's a similar power-weight ratio as the Civic SI.

Plus is sounds "meh" and the manual itself seems to be "meh".

250 hp is fine with me. It's more than any car I have previously owned. That said, I have owned much lighter cars with a perhaps better power to weight ratio. But in this day and age of "stunt driving" charges, I'd rather not have to bail my car out of an impound lot.

The transmission issue surprises me. It sounds like a simple bushing fix, but maybe the engine harshness is transmitted through the linkage? Perhaps, the flexible linkage is a compromise?

The other bugaboo is the staggered wheel size. I will buy a car for year round usage. Staggered wheels and snows is a PIA!

You don't need staggered for the winter.  Just buy an extra set of wheels and run a "square" set-up...like I did with my IS-F.

I'm here to help!   ;D

For example, on my IS-F the tire sizes are 225/40/19 Front, 255/35/19" Rear.

I'm running 245/45/18 all around for winter. Probably should have went 225s in retrospect...but what I have works well.

BTW...has anyone seen the absolutely insane numbers people are getting from a tune on the V6 Kia Stinger??   :o :o

The same type of tuning on the G70 would be bonkers!

The JB4-tuned cars with bolt-ons are pushing close to 500 whp. Not that we can advocate for that...

As for the winter tire fitment, the factory stagger is irrelevant - overall diameter is identical front-to-rear for all fitments, so you can square up with no issues. In fact, all of our factory-approved winter sets for G70 are -1 square setups.
