It'll be very fancy for you compared to the 2, but it'll be a wicked car. I agree though, ditch the roof deflector asap.
In terms of the paint, if your goal is just to make it look a bit prettier (and not make the scratches vanish entirely), I would recommend something like the Mothers Scratch Remover:

It won't get the deep stuff out, but I was absolutely amazed how well it worked on scuffs where the primer was showing (but not down to the medal). I found it worked best on the bumper (non-metal) surfaces, actually.
Weeks later, the scratches are still gone - not sure how slybry's experience differed, but I'm quite content with it.
