While waiting to see another used RX, I had the bright idea to look up Nissan Rogues and we test drove both today.
Was surprised by the Rogue actually. The interior is newly redesigned for 2017 and probably our favorite so far. Nicely laid out, seemingly a bit roomier than the RAV, not as tacky as the Murano, and but similarly loaded with goodies in the Platinum trim. Integral car starter, full radar cruise and collision warning/braking/cross traffic/blind spot, plus the birds eye monitor.
Comfortable seats, clever concealable storage in the back, front seat fold flat to haul long stuff etc. Drove solid and very quiet around town with the rpms down. The only issue was engine roar while accelerating and probably the least power of everything we have tried so far. Pricing seems great, Nissan discounting heavily at the moment.
Probably the wife's number two choice at the moment if we can't find a used RX at a price she likes, and my number two after the Rav4 Hybrid.
So I guess I'll do some pricing of a Platinum Rogue (with the Reserve package, which seems like an extra comfortable seat) in the morning.
