I saw one of these yesterday in the flesh.  It looks even better in person.

Also, you may want to update the Fuel Economy since right now its a copy / paste of the torque.

I'm more interested in the T8 powertrain, but it is gorgeous, safe, and seems to be luxurious (having never seen one).  Getting pricey though, and option packages are odd (as per the article).

$81k  :o

The B and W audio is pretty superfluous but yes. Remember the CAD is a bit worthless at the moment.

An E400 wagon is 88-90 + HST.

I feel sometimes I should have bought an E350 wagon of the previous generation before prices on all these things adjusted for the new FX regime.
You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.

The base version with only the climate package ($1350) and blue paint ($900) would work for me. So about $64K before taxes but including freight and PDI.

Would love to see a version with blacked out chrome accents, as in the Cross Country version.

These are surprisingly large in person. I'm not sure how exactly it compares to the E wagon but it looks larger. Great looking cars.

I could build e400 and v90 equipped how I liked for roughly 80k

You sure about that? I am quite skeptical. Remember the Volvo shows post tax price and the E400 shows pretax.

I don't think the Mercedes site shows delivery/PDI fees either.

When I build the V90, it includes the taxes, PDI, and fees.

Built a R-design....77 590$

Nice looking car, although too big for something I'd ever need.

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Nice looking car, but needs to be about $10k cheaper IMO.  I have a hard time reconciling Volvo as a high-end car.   :-\.   When I was growing up Volvo was an attainable car for average people.  I'd still get this over the XC-90 though!

Even in the '90s Volvos started at close to $30k though. In my mind they were always sort of sitting between mainstream cars and the true luxury brands (along with Saab and Acura).

Love it. I read about some issues with the infotainment system not being as responsive.

Android Auto is being made available to newer models like the V90, but I wonder if it will solve the responsiveness issue.

I agree and as Volvo shifts all North American production to China (only the intro models are/were produced in Sweden) there is no reason why they can't be. It will be interesting if the cars hold up in the long run and whether Volvo's business model of moving the brand upscale especially in terms of price works.

I still am not a fan of the the stressed 4 cylinder but perhaps I will warm to it if the reliability is there.

The V90 is built in Sweden though.
