These cars should be cheap. They were mostly bought by people that were new to the brand, didn't have a clue about really taking care of them, and today there's lots of them that are just waiting to serve you up some big bills.
That said, if you can find a really cherry example that's actually been cared for, they can be a great sports car buy.
A huge issue for me is that there are probably some of the least DIY-friends cars ever sold. No hoist? Find a tech.
