How long before someone just whacks a 42" TV screen on top of a car dashboard and calls it a day?
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

I think the S-Class has that...
I love it when a plan comes together.

I quite like the C-, but this trim is just lost on me.

While I still prefer the look of the previous generation (W204 Chassis), these are starting to grow on me... and you cannot deny the performance they put out, WOW!!

Screen doesn't bug me. Something about the rear 3/4 on the regular coupes does though. Feels like the wheels / rear axle is slightly too small. Maybe even on the C43.

Maybe its fixed on the C63 with the bigger flares and presumably wider rear track.

You can't just have your characters announce how they feel.
That makes me feel angry!

I think it is.   At least those photos look a lot nicer than the plain-jane c coupes.

I agree with the review that the C63 doesn't seem quite as overwrought as some of it's competitors.    That said, for a $100k V8 coupe I'm probably buying that Z06 instead.

:rofl2: :rofl2:

Yeah, I agree, I have yet to see one of these stapled on Ipads that looks remotely well integrated. I don't care if its a Mazda 3 or a S class, I hate this trend. As for the car, to me, a proper Merc has a V8 and somewhere north of 500 hp, this thing ticks all those boxes. Is it as dynamic as an ATS, probably not, but I betcha this will be the long distance touring winner.
Lighten up Francis.....

People can argue about numbers of seats all day long, but the reality is that they're both high performance $100K cars,  and the Corvette looks better, handles better, has more power, and does pretty much everything better save for carry two extra people in a pinch.

These are great cars but finicky.

One of my good friends has 2015 c63 amg 507 coupe and it's no slouch.  The chassis is really nice and sure it's can accelerate very quickly but it turns also.

Not many cars with no modifications cam run 11.8 to 12 sec in 1/4 mile times and then have lots of fun at road track like calabogie.

Before his purchase he looked at m4 also but merc had big discount on pricing for amg and was hard to beat.

With any high end German cars it's seen enough time at shop for warranty work.   Would he buy it again.  Probably not

Right now gotta say the best performance coupe deal is the Camaro.  Sure it's not a sumptuous Germanic testament to Teutonic "luxury" but it's hella fast and holy-shite has GM put all the engineering they can muster into the chassis.  Even the "base" SS-1LE with it's lowly 455hp can take on all but a select few cars - and the rest have to face the ridiculous ZL-1.

I don't care about dash stroking or mullet comments.  I would want the most badass machine around for muh hard earned dough.  GM right now sells them.

I do.  Because A) You spend all of your time inside the car.  A nice interior is a nice place to be when you're not hooning it up.  B) You're only going to be exploiting the handling rarely.  And at street speeds, maybe not even enough to notice how world class it is.  So when you're not in track boy mode, I'd want the car to be as nice as possible for regular daily driving duty.

This stuff matters less if it's a weekend toy though.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

We have a wicked new road course here.  I can't take the Miata on it thanks to no roll protection.   >:(

I'd have that Camaro there every day the track was open.  Also, we do have some super-sweet roads that, at the right time of day/year, I could use that car.

I sat in a 1LE-SS and found it acceptable, interior wise.

The Germans have also taken away something I REALLY want in my performance car: DIY shifting.  GM still lets me have huge power and three pedals.  Win.  I get no one wants a manual Mercedes, but I want a manual performance car.

Maybe, but not enough to notice that it's world class IMO.  At sane speeds, even driven in a very spirited manner, I was hard pressed to tell how superior my 911 was compared to the IS300 for example.  And even at CTC events where we all went on a street ride, the best handling cars didn't leave anyone in the dust because most of the time sanity prevailed.  Because it's only once you get to unsafe speeds are the superior handling attributes very noticeable.  But on a street in a responsible manner?  Overall not so much IMO.

Then no need to bother with an AMG C-Class, either.  Just get a nicely equipped C300 and be comfy.

IDK

The big V8 power is so awesome, just to step on it and roar forward.   Well worth it.

There are inherent advantages to having a torque monster V8 in all aspects of daily driving.

You should know the advantages of torque after having owned a Busa.   ;)
