Damn straight I am judgmental [although I overstepped by mentioning owners] - these things are ruining the auto industry: look at showrooms now - they are almost all CUVs, as manufacturers try and fill every damn micro-niche, as for some unknown reason people keep buying the things. Cars are being given the shaft in terms of R&D, less trim options, less body styles, less transmission or drive options...and then are given even less after manufacturers say "see, nobody is buying them, they are buying the CUVs that we are stuffing the showrooms with 20000 different options" So traditional cars, to say nothing of the more sporting types, keep getting marginalized.
...please, let me know why anyone would want one of these coupe CUV-SAV things? Other than the oxymoronic "fashion" statement.
am I wrong? Please, explain how I am and I will totally admit it. I totally am being a judgmental prick, but when a vehicle is as cancerous [to borrow a term from the kids] as these things, the vehicle deserves it. Local Ford dealer here has almost all CUVs in its showroom, same for VW, was even the same at the Chev dealer I worked at a few years ago. The manufacturers need to be told "enough, stop building endless variations on a theme" - how do you tell them that? Stop buying the damn things.
So, sorry for attacking the owners, should not have done that. Will keep my hate for the CUVs and the manufacturers. People can buy what they want, and I have no right to attack them for a vehicle that, in their eyes at least, fits their needs. But if this thing does, I am really interested in knowing how.
Yeah, I am a nutjob that bought an Alfa over the competition, and would do so again. Watch this drive by Tarquini [who started LAST] and Simoni and tell me you would not be moved as a 10 year old...
