I might just grab a pair of Aerostich Protekt khakis to wear to work and a pair of mesh/textile hybrid pants for my ride across Canada.

Have you seen the dainese ducati jeans?  They look really good, CE level 2 armour, fancy fabric for sliding and only $220.  They look like designer jeans and the padding is the super thin stuff.  I was impressed.

Looks like discontinued.

Scorpion used to have jeans that were about $125...I almost bought those. I like that they had pockets for extra armor.

1) Chain lube
2) Oil/filter

Anyone has experience with Venom bike stands? The price is right. Are they good?

I am in Ottawa and I was looking to get a pair so I can get both wheels off the ground for maintenance and winter storage.

I don't have front stand but is it really needed?  I stored only on rear.  Anyways you can have mine for $40. I was going to post for sale eventually

Is that a flat swingarm or spool stand?
I know you live a few minutes away from me, I just don't know where exactly (yet) :)

It's BOTH a swingarm and spool stand, it has adapters for both!

I have to work my way up slowly to leave the couch and return to the bedroom after this latest purchase. My wife is still a bit miffed.
Calabogie is in the plans but I need to regain confidence and maybe take a class or two before I cause any trouble for other riders on the track :)

No, no I'm not going ON the track.

Just cruising to the track from Kanata.  Leaving around 4pm, returning probably around 6-6:30pm.

There is a lapping night (Cars) tonight and a chump race tomorrow.

Oh, I see. I will have to explore that route. Unfortunately, I work in the East so timing-wise it's tough, but I have made a mental note of that :)
