I don’t see the appeal of these things, but I’m not totally against three wheels.

This looks like fun, and practical too.

went for few more rides, and i had figured out the secret for quiet helmet.

having been little disappointed with my new solid helmet not being as quiet as i hoped for,
swapped to modular helmet i wore last year.  and voila.  quiet.  it was f-ing loud last year....

what happened you say?

i put on 9 lbs.   :rofl2:

must have all gone to my face, blocking wind.  it was very comfy last year, but it's bit tight now.  but so much more quiet.

but i like the new helmet even though it's not as quiet. very comfy. i guess i'll use new helmet for in town, and modular for highway cruise.

Driving thrills makes my wallet lighter.. and therefore makes me faster because i'm shedding weight... :D

Good to run multiple helmets. Mine get completely soaked when riding so unless I pull the liner and pads it can be damp the next day. When I have my truck I run alternating helmets.

I agree, but my wife thinks I have a helmet problem.  :rofl2:
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

Keep a couple around that she knows about and hide the rest.

good news about new helmet,.

moved the headset speakers forward inside the speaker hole, and filled the air with extra padding to fill out the empty space in the helmet.

and with 3m ear plugs, it much quieter now, and i can now relax on highway cruise.

now i can just focus on riding when i'm out riding instead of being distracted with shitlord of noise.

happy about that.

Forecast yesterday showed a 4 hour gap between bouts of thunderstorms.  So a particularly unwise trio set out to fit in a two hour motorcycle ride.  :rofl2:  Some bad decisions work out well - gloomy, but cool, and very little traffic anywhere. Gorgeous Yamaha, and I forgot to ask what it was.  ???  Absolutely fugly seat pad on my bike does wonders for comfort - as much in cush for the tush as in effectively raising the seat height and giving me slightly less bend in the knees.

Nice, how's the weather? I'm going there in September, will be based in Riccione. Looking to hear your impressions of that trip!

Before I started riding, if someone had suggested a 500 km round trip just to have lunch, I'd have laughed pretty hard.   But a blast up to Muskoka Lakes for lunch this past Saturday made perfect sense.  Gorgeous weather must be an opportunity seized!  Highlights were a 33 km stretch of uninterrupted twisties at the very top of the route - which we naturally rode both ways - and briskly.  ;D  And the bacon / cheddar / jalapeno burger in Bala.  Kinda sore the next day, but still smiling.
