Awesome ride out with Rob and a friend of his - Bill - yesterday.  I had met Bill several a few ago when the three of us went to the motorcycle show, and it was nice to get back together so soon for a ride.
We enjoyed glorious weather and a fantastic route that Rob had painstakingly mapped out.  Departed from Rob's place in Acton and basically hit 120 km of all the good stuff between Milton, Georgetown and Guelph.

My 650 was definitely the midget between the comparatively BIG Tiger and GS, but I'm guessing I had the most fun simply because this was both my first group ride and my longest ride to date - probably 190km for me when adding in the journey to and from the group.  I also feel like I gained a lot of confidence on this ride compared with my solo outings on more familiar roads.

Finished up with coffee and pastry, naturally.  ;D  Really looking forward to doing this again.

Wow, motorcycle abuse leaving your bike outside all winter.

Its under a cover, its fine!!

How do you still have ice in your back yard? My backyard is mostly bare other than the south section behind the camper. Maybe store your bike in the opposite side next winter.

The south side of the yard, along the fence has a five foot swath of snow and ice thats been stubbornly refusing to melt. Should be able to get it out this weekend. Can't park it on the other side as this has a nice concrete platform and the other side is all muddy grass.

You are doing it wrong.

If I was single, that would definetly be a thing, currently the wife would not appreciate my attempt at "art" though.
Lighten up Francis.....

HJC and naked bike bros.  Sounds kinda wrong....  :-[  but anyway, fun ride out and some more (much needed) slow speed practice.

First foothills ride of the season. Very sore. It seems the only way to get into riding shape is to ride. Was solo so tried to make smart choices but not always... Snow at about 4600' so a few weeks out from getting into the real hills.

Conditions don’t look too bad below the snow line!

My wife says the mountain biking is pretty good around Banff/Canmore already. Me, I’m just enjoying the freezing rain in northern SK.  :P

Weird conditions. Snowy and dry. The ground is dry, without rain we will be on fire in July.  :(
