bike museum?

From what I was told this is the guy's office and he keeps his bikes there. He used to or still does race but this is second hand info from the bakery which is worth visiting.

Probably involved in this:

Poor Kenny Roberts racing the XS-650 which was useless racing against the XR750. There came the idea of developping the TZ-700 flat tracker.

I saw him do parade laps..full out...at Indy!

I was there for this! Was spectacular!!  Most of the MotoGP riders showed up to see it too!

Lucky you, saw it on youtube many times. This thing was a beast to control on a dirt track. No traction control in those days!

Well this has finally played out. I think initially DKaz defended these guys but then retracted it when the facts came out. What was a father of two young children weaving through traffic while unlicensed and uninsured thinking? These types of stories are what my wife picks up on and needles me saying "motorcycles are dangerous.". My response is always "no honey, just the morons who ride them." Tragic all the way around.

Morons indeed.  Almost unbelievable that they got off with a careless driving charge and nothing more.
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

This was from the people who rode with him, saying that the driver suddenly slowed down rapidly for no reason, straddling two lanes of traffic. So was it extreme negligence or road rage?

https://edmonton.ctvnews.ca/motorcyclist-in-henday-crash-dies-1.4336165

Quote
Crown prosecutor Michael Dunn said witnesses who saw the riders noted their high rate of speed and aggressive weaving maneuvers.

Near the Callingwood Road exit, traffic came to an “abrupt” stop, said Dunn. The driver of a Dodge Journey SUV swerved to avoid the car in front of her. Murray, who was expecting the lane to be open, applied his front brake but failed to stop in time. His bike collided with the rear of the SUV, sending him flying into a lane of traffic.

Harris also imposed driving prohibitions of 45 and 30 days, respectively. Falle earned a longer prohibition period due to his driving history, which includes convictions for speeding and failure to obey traffic signals. Falle is currently recuperating after undergoing shoulder surgery in November, following a separate motorcycle accident.

Yes, for both with full coverage.  Comp and collision were cheap so added them.

Comprehensive and collision on the FE501 is running me $167.  Not sue if I have accident benefits outside of some token things though.  It really came down when I went to the Personal.

On my G450X, I think these are all mandatory to have
                              $30- bodily injury
                               $275-Accident benefits
                                $9 uninsured automobile
                                $13 direct compensation/property damage
$50 OPCF 44R familyh protection coverage
 I think these are optional
                                $20 accident forgiveness
                                $13  comprehensive
                                $14 collision or upset
Total, $425

Yeah, can't remember the deductible, but it's ridiculous.

I'm with you here.  I spend more time than I care to admit sitting in my freezing garage, staring at my bike.  :-[

Buy a garage heater. Buy more bikes. Work on bikes during winter. That is what I do.
