Well at least it was the rear and not the front. A front lock would be nasty. Did that not happen to someone here?

That would be me! I have some metal plates in my shoulder thanks to that. Did pretty much a 360.  :-X

Went for some fantastic fall riding in BC. Here is an elevation profile. Very tired.

One water pic. This was a cold glacier source stream that was much deeper in the afternoon due to runoff.

Why is elevation inversely proportional to speed?

Why is elevation inversely proportional to speed?
i'm guessing the thinner air in the higher elevation results in decreased power, hence lower acceleration/speed?
When you've lost the argument, admit defeat and hit the smite button.

It's not that high lol.  At high elevations you are picking away along a rocky ridge top on a single track at best while down low you are on a FSR (forest service road). The big elevation changes chew through the gas. That is what makes BC awesome when you can gain 4000' in a short distance.

I know there's only been talk about recommending Yamaha Bolts but I don't think anyone's bought one. Still, a recall for potential crank case oil leaks.

Not sure what you mean.  This bike is tiny (430 lbs).
