Warm weather here yesterday made us take out the bikes again.   Met up with a few guys who have started a local Facebook riding group and spent the afternoon on trails in the west end of Kingston.   I don't think we got more than 3 or 4km from my house, but had a blast.

One of the guys edited the 3 hours down to 45 minutes,  yeah, it repeats a bit after about 34 minutes, you're not confused.

Here's a shorter clip that I took of us vs a hill .   I might put up some more later.

ooo...another great FortNine video...this one talks about motorcycle design (looks) and features the Indian FTR1200.   :)

Yeah I saw this vid.  Love this guy - an intellectual bike reviewer - I didn't think that was allowed.  :rofl2:

I also think he's right about this bike.  Though a bit outside the bike style envelope that I seem to dwell in, I can't stop looking at it.  Sure hope he does a full review on it.

yea...i'd never buy one myself, but it's a great bike...for those looking in this category, it's got to be among the top contenders.

Kawasaki's smallest dual sport KLX gets a small discplacement bump to a new liquid cooled single 292, now called the KLX300, and releases the all new KLX300SM super motor variant. The small KLX previously made a comeback in 2018 with fuel injection.

Got my hopes up that the XMax was coming to Canada.

R6 was no surprise, everyone's getting litre bikes these days. VMax, no market. WR250R is sad but oh well. SMax there's enough used stock around that no one's really buying new of those.

I'm saddest re R6. I always wanted one of those.

You just can't get insurance on 600's these days, the insurance companies have killed the category. Shame, I would have liked to have tried the new Aprilia RS 660.

Not sure, but the new Honda in some countries is a CRF300L.

I think some of this shakeup is to meet Euro 5 emission regs

I think the race version is still available.   R6 is basically a track bike anyhow.

Probably about the same IMO.

Both were about a step behind the Yamaha.

I can.

Are you saying you can't get insurance on a 600, but you have no problem doing so on your multiple 1000cc+ bikes??

Wasn't the Yamaha twice the price?

Not quite.  They were around $8k or so.

Definitely enough to know they were more expensive though!!

Pretty much. Hopefully Jeff chimes in here as his missus saw the same, massive hikes on ~600cc bikes, not much on everything else.  Insurance companies basically don't want to deal with 600 supersport bikes, too crashworthy.
