The Indian and the Triumph are just f*cking cool looking IMHO, they are styled in a way that says manly cool, and not, middle-aged accountant with a need for leather and tassels on the weekend.
Agreed re the Indian. It's think it's about as perfect a design for a cruiser as can be. Tough to improve upon.
And I think the Triumph is, literally, bought by middle aged accountants...who don't have a need for leather and tassels...but have a need to say "See? I really do have a penis because this bike has a big engine and I can afford it! "
Plus that bike doesn't do anything particularly well. Too big and heavy to handle, slow for the firepower, and the engine doesn't even sound as glorious as other Triumph triples IMO.
In other words...it's nothing more than a pure fashion statement..in the worst way.
YMMV.
