the Ninja 650 is actually a really good everyday bike...quick, but not stupid fast, relatively affordable and quite reliable.
I prefer the Honda 650R...prefer the I4 in this instance..
i like that one too...it is more money, but only $700 more so not a big deal...i'm guessing we should see some reviews of the Trident out in 4-5 weeks.
I4 is worth the expense IMO..better sound for starters.
i don't think it has the VTEC bits that the CB400F Super Four has though, does it?
one things' for sure, i LOVE the 4 downswept pipes (4 into 1 exhaust).
No..it's basically the "old" CBR 600 mill...which was fantastic.
Parallel twins generally sound like turds...KTM790 being an exception because of its odd firing order to mimic the sound of a V-Twin.
Parallels are my least favorite sounding bike engines.
I tend to agree, although the twin in my Bonnie does have that low-revving put-put-put sound that suits the bike.
