Yes, that's good times, Bob!

I did a roll chart race in conditions like that. Was awesome until I hit a HUGE, slick tree root that was obscured by leaves! LOL [emoji38]

Yeah, we had to be careful, EVERYTHING was covered in a carpet of leaves, you couldn't see roots, rocks, even some puddles!

Yeah, looks really nice! Watch out for those leaves once they get wet. It’s worse than riding on ice.  :P

Had only my third (and last) ride of the season a week ago. Was a beautiful fall day and figured I’d get out for at least one more, then the snow hit. Didn’t even wash my bike, so now it’s going to sit muddy in the garage all winter. Only good thing is that I rode it so little I won’t have any work to do on it, so I guess dirty doesn’t matter.  :P

So how'd that machine work out for you this summer? Did you get many km on it?

What are the levers? They look pretty good, and shorty's as well?

Last time I upgraded mine I went with ASV F3 shorty's.. loved that they had the pivot design (supposedly unbreakable) and the micro-indexing dial for reach adjustment.

Getting to this point riding 2-up was interesting.    I have a gopro vid of the return trip I'll put up one of these days.
Riding on the beach is always interesting, sometimes it's like a smooth hard highway, sometimes it's mounds of round gravel and seaweed.
Go back the next day after some wind and it's all different.  Ride times must be timed with the tides.

I got these off of Amazon, for $50 I thought I would give them a shot.

I always find it funny how all of my non-biker friends and family always want to regale you with stories about crashes...

It is just weird to read about a bike crash that evolves 2 bikes head on a beautiful sunny dry day

That is a sweet looking bike.
