That little honda is good looking, but so is the little 300R

Not sure about the 300R, but the Honda Highness will have a long stroke, high torque, low rpm “thumper” of an engine.

I think my 7 year old daughter inherited some of my enthusiasm for cars and trucks.  She always points out other Toyota trucks, she can recognize Fords, Rams, and Chevy's, and always asks me if Toyota makes the best truck (God I love her, lol).

And to keep this post on topic, here is a picture of her going for a ride on her Opa's Harley a few years ago.

My dad had a Honda CB 350 way back in the day.  That bike had the quintessential standard naked bike look.  It was what inspired my interest in bikes in the first place.

I just about fell off that bike in grade 2 along the 401 in Scarborough, near where we lived at the time.  Those were the days.  I think of it every time I pass by the 401 and McCowan.

I thought my daughter might form the same memories about machinery.  But she still seems to think a car is a car is a car.  I went wrong somewhere.

This was a fun ride, if you like 2-up on sand and round stones

Riding around the very Northeast tip of New Brunswick, where the above pic was taken.    The sand whoops were fun at the end.

Unfortunately it has the 50cc pipe on the 90cc engine, it doesn't ever come on pipe, but puts along at low RPM nicely.
It's on the list, along with front brakes and a kill switch.

The problem is the 90cc should go up the right side, but on the RV50 it has to go up the left side, so stock pipes won't work.   Have to weld up something custom, for the meantime, it works well, just no top end power.
Considering most of my quarantine rides included a glass of rum in one hand,  that's probably for the best ;D

I'm misunderstanding I think...you have an RV90? The exhausts I showed are for RV90.

Why won't they work?

Because I'm clear as mud... ;D
The bike is an RV50, the engine in it is a RV90 of which the stock pipe would route on the wrong side, so it has a bastardized RV50 pipe on it to fit the bike.

Oh!

I thought it was an RV90 and you just had the RV50 exhaust because you couldn't find a decent RV90 one!

Makes sense now.

Yes, that's good times, Bob!

I did a roll chart race in conditions like that. Was awesome until I hit a HUGE, slick tree root that was obscured by leaves! LOL [emoji38]

Ya, looks awesome TB. I think we’re done for the year here. Highs forecast for the next two weeks are below 3C. Brutal.
