I had to wash my bike today as it attracts a lot of attention on the street as is and about 10 fold when dirty. Lots of stares from Calgary's finest.
What tires do you have on it, they look a bit more streetable than my Trakmasters?
They sure are. These are my "street wheels", Continental TKC80s. You can really push these on the pavement. The 500 can spin the rear up when it is chilly out so you can step out the rear at will. They are good off road except for muddy conditions in which case they suck. I was able to ride some tough singletracks with them and they got me through, I just have to be more delicate. They came with the bike.
My "dirt wheels" are currently shod with a Pirelli Scorpion Pro front and a Pirelli MT16 rear. When this street set is gone I may go back to the TKCs or perhaps a Pirelli Scorpion Rally front and a Dunlop D606 rear.
