Well with their competitors doing smartphone integration into their motorcycles, Honda had to catch up or, in this case, one up everyone with their automotive expertise. People who are long distance tourers are demanding this.

You can use Google Maps, Waze, TomTom, etc. with CarPlay.

I had this functionality on my 390.

I tested it out to see if it worked (it does, voice worked too)...but never used it otherwise.

I still remember my first bike with a real fuel gauge.  I still use the trip odo, even in my cars.  Old habits die hard...

Same here. Came in handy when the XC60 fuel gage started acting up.  ;D

Do you have iOS 12 or newer with the latest versions of whichever app on your phone? Did you swipe right to find additional apps?

I owned a Hyundai Stellar for a short time with the smaller 1.6L engine. It did not seem too bad.

I just don't update my phone OS constantly, as it's designed to slow down.

First gen or the Stellar 2.0?

I was on a highway trip with 4 people and luggage in one. That car was a rolling safety hazard as It could not maintain highway speed unless it was downhill. I have to think. When was the last time anyone sighted a Pony/Stellar on the road?

Mine was the first generation - 1986. I used it as a donor for a Locost Seven so it didn't live long.

I saw a Stellar 2.0 about 12 years ago. Last one I think I have seen. I saw a Pony about 2-3 years ago.

i'm not sure that's a fair question...when's the last time you saw a mid to late 80s anything on the road (that wasn't a "classic")...just a regular Chevy Cavalier, Pontiac 6000, Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla type...i'm not saying they were great cars in their time (they weren't), but aside from a few outliers, none of those regular cars have been seen on today's roads in a VERY long time.
When you've lost the argument, admit defeat and hit the smite button.
