Sorry but unless you are running cold weather specific tires on your bike the rubber compound is simply too stiff for the temps we are seeing. It decreases tire traction for things like braking.

Sorry, but they didn't have those in the '70s. And since I hated taking the bus and since my motorcycle insurance is sold on an annual basis with NO possibility of cancelling during the winter months, I drove to and from work all winter long in all kinds of weather...you drive accordingly.

The best place to learn how to ride a motorcycle is in the dirt and on the ice.
What you won't find in my car is a coffee, cigarette and a cell phone. What you will find is a driver; imagine that, a driver in a vehicle. What an effing concept!
A car has to do more than just perform; it has to stir your soul!
A true driver's car does not have cup holders.

So charges were laid against the driver. No further information available at this time.
What was the charge?

They were advised not to give information on the charges yet.
WTF?

I think they’re pushing for the toughest charge possible. It could be as little as a fine. There is dashcam footage of the accident from a vehicle behind the crash they’re still reviewing but I think they’re having trouble determining criminal intent.

That doesn't make sense.

Either they're charged or they aren't. They need to determine if they have enough evidence before they charge...and not offer up some "secret" charge.

Not sure why it's a secret. Maybe they should have waited until they were done the investigating thoroughly and completely before offering up the news of a charge.

I don’t know. We just know there will be charges. Not going to push anyone to disclose information they’re not supposed to.

But they are supposed to disclose a charge against someone....they aren't secret.

Maybe they put the cart ahead of the horse a bit....

Well worth the extra $10k.  ;D   Rode to the track yesterday and spent an hour riding, even hit a few doubles once warmed up (*with the desert tank on lol)  So nice not to have to unload and get ready in the lot.

i know that...but KTMs dealers are few and far between as it is...huskys even more so...the only dealers in Ontario for them are in Brantford, Guelph, Toronto and Barrie.

That is crappy. Tons of dealers out west but then again not really needed with the interwebs and Rocky Mountain ATV.

Not going to push anyone to disclose information they’re not supposed to.

But they are supposed to disclose a charge against someone....they aren't secret.

Maybe they put the cart ahead of the horse a bit....

So the reason they withheld was because they were getting charged too, the two of them, for reckless driving. The lady got a charge for failing to stay in the centre of her lane. The three riders were speeding in and out of traffic prior to the accident. The lady had absolutely no reason to leave her lane, she would've stopped well before the car in front of her. If she absolutely did, she should've gone to the shoulder to the left of her.

Gotcha....although still unsure why is took so long to come out.

So the bikes were riding like lunatics then?

And judging by her charge, what the lady did wasn't intentional? (not intentionally hitting the guy on the bike).

It came out a couple of days later, but there was a sense of disappointment from the community as a whole that some details were left out. I was a little upset.

Oh the speeding and the weaving -- that they weren't as innocent as they proclaimed to be.
