Just get an Africa Twin and be done with it...

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

No...it's included on the Adventure Sport model...for a $1500 premium at $16,800.

"Base" model is still over $15k!

Yeah, they are a bit pricey for a Japanese bike and for what  you get.  Still nice though.
He might have been talking about a particular bike he was pricing at the local dealer.

Well the Honda will have impeccable build quality and reliability. The Sport version brings more suspension, bigger tank, better fairing, taller screen, heated grips, etc.

And it sure is pretty!

Thinking about a Suzuki TU250X for the summer. Not sure I want to pay $10k+ for a Triumph.

Cool little machine! The Suzuki Van Van is also a cool retro scrambler.

And the new CB300R is beautifully styled.

The CB300R also brings the class first ABS with IMU, basically cornering ABS.

Honda America announced my next scooter, as long as Honda Canada is following suit that is. 2019 Honda PCX with optional ABS brakes which I would absolutely go for. No ABS, no sale.

^^Great machine.  Loved my PCX.

They're also coming out with a hybrid version.

i wish they'd make that exact same scooter with a 250 (or whatever size the engine is in the 300s).

Really cheap used, too.

The new Forza's not coming to North America but you could find them used. I am kinda kicking myself for not picking up old used stock for $4399. But they are heavy for what's going to be predominantly urban use.

If the PCX doesn't come, I could look at the Piaggio Liberty 150S if I want a more urban scooter, it's only $3399 or something but only has ABS on the front wheel. They own or are owned by Vespa. Then there's the new Kymco XTown 300i ABS for $5299. The Taiwanese scooter company has given the Japanese brands a run for their money recently, and they make scooters for BMW, Kawasaki, and others. Their only dealer in Alberta is All Season Motorsports in Calgary and they don't appear to have any new Kymcos in stock.

Bah!  The weight is so low on the Forza, you don't even notice.  My Burgman was a cow and I scarcely noticed the weight in urban use.  Low COG+Low seat height.  And I'm not a big guy.

Maybe I wasn't used to the Reflex, I was scared to make low speed turns. Maybe it also had to do with it not being my bike. I was a bit more comfortable on a Majesty. I think the feet really forward design is what I'm not used to. I don't like Cruisers for the same reason.

I haven't tested the PCX yet. We'll see. I am craving massive underseat storage too which puts me more towards the maxi-scooters. Meh, I have time to figure it out. Maybe go for a used Burgman 400 ABS. Honda scooters are scarce in Edmonton.

You'll get used to it.  I could do a u-turn with a fully loaded Burgman with IQ on the back.

A PCX has really good underseat storage....but not massive.  PCX with a nice top box would be able to carry quite a bit though.

Pic from my PCX:

yea, but they don't make those anymore, and i never really liked the look of them...i want a PCX150 sized scooter, with a ~250cc engine (in a perfect world).

^^And I want to go on a date with Alice Eve...let's see who gets their wish first.

IMO, the Forza doesn't look too different from the PCX...kinda a fat PCX if you will.

And they are easily found with minimal KMs on them for cheap money.

Great scoot BTW.
