Yeah I don't bother on pavement either. What is the point behind it?

I'm not trying to convince you of anything. You do you.
Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

Yep, the only time I don't get waves is from some Harley riders.

Yeah, same. Harleys I'd wait to see if they waved first. Funnily enough the real hard core Harley guys would often wave (unless they were in a group trying to look cool). It was the wannabe Wild Hog 'dentist is my day job' types that wouldn't

I did, I made three new friends.  :P

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

I'll claim it is a safety issue.

I could do one handed wheelies while shooting the middle finger....

Is that a safety issue?  LOL [emoji38]

(depends who I'm shooting the finger to, right? )

Sometimes I completely miss other riders.

On my Vino 125, I got lots of waves on the highway.

I assume you are fingering people with the left as you grab big throttle with the right?

True story:  I shattered a piston (lost a skirt) at WOT in 4th gear on my 300 blasting down a FSR road. The piston pieces went into the bottom end and seized the engine locking the rear wheel.  If I hadn't been able to grab the clutch quick it would have been very messy.  Would have been horrible timing if I was busy waving at someone.  ;D+

Did the people waving to you manage to do so without spontaneously crashing and exploding into a spectacular fireball?  ;D

Solid wave. If it was a wheelie it may have been Ron.

Well at least it was the rear and not the front. A front lock would be nasty. Did that not happen to someone here?

Dent I think, busted him up pretty good

Back can be bad too, a la highside

I had the engine seize on one bike but luckily it was in town and not on the highway

Huh...

I wonder if this is possible? Or if the ECU would look at the wheel speed differential between the driven wheel and the lofted wheel and not allow cruise to be turned on while wheelying?

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

They removed it recently.
Canadian Coast Guard had determined the lighthouse had come to its end of life, and will be replaced this fall.
The replacement work includes remediation of the concrete base, replacement of the metal structure and new infrastructure (lights, etc).
An alternate lit navigation aid is installed while the work is being completed.

My riding partner retreating from the alpine bowl. It was getting pretty dark by then and we had 30 mins of technical descent ahead of us. It's amazing how much an iphone will lighten things up. Normally there is water flowing over these rocks so this can only be attempted late season.
