It’s only 350 lb, think of what you can do with that much power in a light weight package. Do it Ron.

Oh I already know!

I had a gen 1 690 Duke...354 wet! I had a full Akra Ti exhaust, so I was right at 70hp.

Best street bike (by far) I've ever owned.

But the rider aids more than make up for that; proper, lean-angle-sensitive Bosch ABS and traction control mean that even when the conditions are moody, you can still push and still have fun with a safety net to save your collarbones.

Oh sure. NOW they bring this out.  ;D

Too expensive IMO.

I'd be hard pressed to pay $1000 USD MORE for this than the stellar 790 Duke.

It's killing it in the reviews thus far the 790.....

It's coming up this Sunday at the indoor karting track in Fegersheim. It's where I go on occasion for karting but it'll be the first time on 2 wheels. Renting my buddy's YCF.

They do that on purpose...the surface is slippery.

Easier to back it in.

YCF? Aren't those mini/pitbikes?

Buddy has the YCF SP3 190.

It will be my first time on something of that genre. I am really looking forward to it but also a bit apprehensive because it will be my first time on something of that genre and well, the riders are just better here.

As for backing it in......yes, totally. That's also new to as well. My friend is pro-level rider. Working on getting some coaching seasons with him at the race tracks this year.

I love motard so much...just so much more you can do with it. So many riding styles. You can lean off like a sport bike...or ride motard style. Back in it. Jump over curbs...ride up/down stairs. Attack 90 degree corners like a mad man, sliding it through the corner. All while going less than the speed limit. Ditto for round abouts. I like sportbikes...but supermoto is a whole other dimension of fun and skills.

Honestly....I was never really good at stunting.  I could do a Nac-Nac when I was young (and stupid) on my motocross bike.   And apart from one handed wheelies (while flipping the bird) and rolling burnouts, that's about the extent of my stunting repertoire.  But backing in a bike sure makes you look like a hero!!  BTW...am having a hard time backing in the 390 Duke....whereas my 690 was a complete joke backing it in.  Could even back it in with IQ on the back.  More than any other bike, the 690 makes you an even better rider than you are.

This video basically shows how I ride...like this...nothing fancy.
