Unedited pic taken now with my Pixel 2 XL.  Cell phone cameras are pretty damn amazing today.

Wow. That's really impressive for a night shot.

It's the detail in the clouds that makes it.

Galaxy S10 Plus in da house!  ;D

Camped out all night at the mall to be first in line!

NOT!   Those peeps crack me the hell up.  Walked into the mall as it opened and just happened to be first in line.  Which was good, since the Oakville Place Telus store received all of three S10 plus models - on launch day for crying out loud.  ???

Anyway, setup was a breeze.  Love the larger size and the seemingly much larger screen as compared with my S8.  In-screen fingerprint reader is very cool, as is the power share feature, whereby I can wirelessly charge accessories (wireless earbuds, Galaxy watch - neither of which I yet own) - or any other phone capable of wireless charging - just by resting it on my phone.  My S8 never felt slow, but this is lighting quick in comparison.

It barely feels bigger in my hand than the S8 - that's the biggest surprise.  Nothing meaningful to report as it's but a few hours old.  But I'm ticked pink at this point.

Nice, cool beans!!

I'm due for an upgrade at the end of March with Bell, looking at possibly the S10e for it's smaller footprint. Problem is that my S7 is still running perfect, it's 2yrs old now & I don't have the urge or need to change it out. Plus the plan I'm on is cheap compared to the new plans that are out there, so I'll have to call customer retention to get a loyalty plan again, which will probably be another $10 - $20 per month  :banghead:

My main reason for the upgrade was to get the larger size - better for viewing Netflix on the GO Train.

Nope. 1) too costly; 2) ceramic is very scratch resistant, but not very drop resistant 3) I use a case, so I don't see or touch the actual caseback very often; 4) not sure what the fack I would use 1 terrabyte of storage for.

I got the basic prism black.

Nah - I'll wait at least one generation on the folding screen tech to sort itself out.

Honestly - I think a lot.  A lot of peeps with more dollars than sense who just gotta have the top offering regardless.

The 6 was a good phone but the 7 is better. The battery is still shat though. How many battery changes with your 6?
Looking to change mine in July. Will likely go XR, maybe XS. We'll see what the deals are then.
