It’s a blast to drive. I’ve had several CR-V’s with this engine and they we’re gutless wonders. This car pulls really well. I bet it’s the original engine too.

I had an automatic 2004. I sold it with 250 k kms and it ran like a top, shifted like new. Very reliable car that liked eating rotors.

They really, really are.

Underrated, perhaps.

It's one of my favourite Acuras ever.  The design is timeless.

I was keeping an eye on these a while ago but even ones with 1/3 the KMs of yours were pretty beat.

The mileage is impressive, especially if it is the original engine and transmission.

The TSX and the IS300 were the "finalists" when IQ bought her car.

I think the TSX suffers from "could have had a six cylinder" which is less of thing when used at least in my opinion. I did find the clutch slightly picky on my example.

It did get a V6 near end of life cycle, didn't it?

I think the second gen got the V6, no?

I too really liked this one back in the day and contemplated the idea of getting one. Maybe I got my wires crossed but didn't this one only come with MT at least for the first few MYs?

The V6 was automatic only. And the styling was worse.

V6 was available beginning in 2010, according to Wikipedia.

The first TSX was a rebadged Euro Accord. As with the Passat, they get better cars over there!!

Picked this Acura TSX up for real cheap. Only has 543,000 km, runs awesome though and it came with a set of winters on rims worth more than I paid for the car lol. And it has the 6 speed manual, might make a decent winter car.

Any chance this thing lived in Ontario up until a couple of years ago? A good friend had a silver manual TSX with a bajillion km on it; got rid of it in 2019 or so.

Nope. BC from new with one reported owner. I’m actually enjoying driving this more than the E46 wagon, maybe it’s because even with a bazillion KM it’s still going to be more reliable. Think I’ll toss the winters on it and use it as my winter car. Only problems I’ve found are the backlights for the HVAC and radio don’t work.

What's the spec on the E46? How's the rust status? These tend to rust in Ontario. Yet to see one here without rust on the quarter panels.
