We had some company Rams for work back in the early 2000’s just before the new body style. I had a 360 quad cab 4x4, co worker had a 318 in his, same truck. We’d race and it was a dead heat. Mine used about 25% more fuel too lol.

I think the 360 only had 10-20 or so more horsepower.  Bunch more torque, though.

My Dad towed a 27' fifth wheel with his 318, it was plenty capable.  Went through headgaskets like nobody's business, though.

Twister! That’s what I’ve named this one. Just drove this 95 Ram 2500 home from Vancouver. Unfortunately a gas job. It’s a real beauty though, 144,000km and not a spot of rust anywhere. Sure shows what a full load “luxury” truck was 25 years ago compared to today.

Another minty find by Rev.

So these mint finds are great cosmetically, but how about mechanically?

Yeah, another awesome find....people would kill for a truck that clean around here, literally. This generation was the game changer for Ram and really redefined how the general public thought about pickup trucks. All based on styling really, as these were not ground breaking by any other means, but they caught a ton of attention, enough that people who had no use for a pickup, suddenly were interested in owning one so they too could look as cool as Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton in it.

That's pretty dark.  :'(

I forget, but was a motive ever established for Millard's murderous spree over the pickup?

Oof... yeah I'm not going to lie - my brain goes there every time I see a heavy duty truck of this vintage. Insane story... I recently helped a friend sell a car privately and I was definitely sketched out meeting the buyer outside a closed Burger King at night.

Knock on wood....I've been lucky so far. The only one that gave me a fairly expensive repair was the Toyota Tundra, the fuel pump had some issues.

Out of curiosity, how much less would it sell for in Canada?

I was going to ask $10,500 safetied. It needed tires for sure I not sure what else may have came up in inspection. US buyer gave less but still a quick turnover and I don’t have to do anything to it.

Late reply lol. If I can make a quick $1000 after expenses on a inexpensive car I’m happy. Trucks minimum $2-2500.

Bought this clean 1997 Suburban. Couldn’t resist putting the rims we had on our 2012 Suburban on it. Amazing how huge 20” rims look on these old trucks.

Have the urge to buy this Lebaron. 1987 with 19,000 km. Yes, 19k! Too bad it’s a base model/non turbo. Estate sale. Bubba? Wanna go halves???

I halfway agree. But the factory 245's on 16" wheels look positively tiny. I'd like a set of 18's to split the difference between to big and too small.
