Add another nutball to this local Achieva fan club. My faves are the SC coupes with the aero wheels - much cleaner than the cladded Grand Am's.

 :iagree:

Nice 4x4 S10 too, rust doesn't look too bad. Stuff like that is becoming a hot commodity in Ontario because most of them were used hard and rotted to nothing ages ago.

Square S10's were certainly rare in Alberta. BC they seem much more common. The rust is there but fixable, I have a parts truck with a fairly rust free body. This one sports a tremclad style paint job, its original color was that powder blue GM offered for a few short years.

Old farmer owned it. Used it on his orchard. I'd love to restore it to original condition but think garbage duty as-is suits it just fine.

That is a nice little truck, great shape too. Anything around here has been feasted upon by tinworm. I wouldn't think a resto is worth it, just keep it in good shape.
Lighten up Francis.....

Yeah, that Achieva is fantastic, I actually really like it. I used to work with a guy that was an 'Achieve Enthusiast', he owned a blue 4-door at the time but was obsessive about Achievas. He's lose his mind over that car.

This him with a Lumina?

DKaz I have your ride!

1992 Suburban. Someone looked after this thing, I buy 6 year old vehicles that aren’t this clean inside. Strange options, or lack there of. Has a/c, cruise and tilt, not much else. Drive down to Vancouver to pick it up, aside from some clear coat thinning on the hood the body is awesome without a spec of rust.

Looks nice. How much? Looks exceptionally clean, which is not the case for a lot of trucks and big SUVs out there.

My main problem is the insurance. Not much cost difference insuring first cars between BC and Alberta, but that's where it ends. In Alberta, second car you're paying 2/3rds the cost of the first, third car you're paying 2/3rds of the second, etc. BC? You now have a second first car, and a third first car, etc. I could just get day insurance whenever we need it. Then there's maintenance, and storage because I'm only alotted two car spots where I live.

That's how insurance is in Ontario too....it sucks.

This Suburban though; wow. I agree with Fob, I wish it was a K-series (4WD), but beggars can't be choosers, this would make an awesome tow vehicle for a period car.

I really wish it was a K as well. A few nice 4x4 around here but guys are asking some pretty good money for them. This Suburban was traded at a GM store, maybe they bought a new one finally lol.

I really want to find a set of trim rings and center caps. These hubcaps, while original, look ridiculous lol.

Might go for decent money. I checked BaT and this was the most comparable Sub on there but it's a K2500 so obviously worth a lot more: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1993-chevrolet-suburban/

That Suburban needs the plate "TURBOMAN" or "MERIXMAS". I'm really hoping someone here gets the reference...
