So the little Suzuki saw the light of day for the first time since 2002. I trailered it home and it’s now running well and looking good. I decided not to keep this one, it’s in the hands of a good friend safe and sound in his airplane hangar. Man, these things were tiny, primitive little tools!

I owed my friend one. He really wanted the Zuki, and he let me have the big Banana Suburban (he really wanted to keep it). Everyone's happy!

That looks great. The two door would be uncommon.

Where there four door versions of the Samurai?

Looks good . A former co worker had one. He used to rave about do to it’s off road ability in the woods. Being smaller had it’s advantages over the larger 4WDs.

No, not in Canada.  There were long-wheelbase versions, a pick-up, and a non-convertible 2-door, but never 4-doors.

IIRC, even though they were marketed as SJ410s, I believe all Canada and US Samurais were really SJ413s since they came with the 1.3l engine...

And that thing is amazing!

I meant two tone paint. No idea why I wrote two door. Ugh. Sorry.

That did clean up really well! Very cool find.

My sister bought a Sidekick the same year I bought a YJ. It didn't take too long to figure out which was the better vehicle. Both would shake your fillings out though.

It's funny to think that the Sidekick was supposed to be a more refined replacement for the Samurai.  ;D

It’s incredible how tiny a YJ looks today.

You're right. And the older Jeeps like the CJ2 (or the Mahindra Roxor that's based on it) look like golf carts.

The treasure trove of clean old vehicles in the south Okanagan is irresistible. Picked up this Grandma special 1990 Cadillac ELdorado on Thursday. Made the 700 km trip home without incident.

Wow - that looks like a beauty! I know a lot of folks don't like those but I think they are quite nice for what they are.
