Here ya go BW

Thanks Rev!  ;D My ass would look good in those seats!  If only! Eh?!

If your uncle needs a "new" 'bird... https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars/winnipeg/1995-thunderbird-supercharged-saftied/1578488124?undefined
Probably cheap(er?) out there in BC too.
I wanted one of these when they came out.  Might still be a comfy (and fun?) driver.  It's got a stick and a S/C V6.

Cheaper than a big old boat Buick or something...

Given your propensity to pick up the most obscure examples of a given nameplate, I am going to say 1974.

How about a 1964 then?

This emblem is 1964-68 so I’ll go with ‘68 because my birth year 🙂

1966. 389 auto. Driver quality, paint a bit tired in spots but overall a really solid car. Needs a through going over as it hasn’t been on the road for several years. It’s a car that looks better with the top up to me…..still it’s cool either way.

Yep, super cool! I like those a lot, and I agree, top-up makes the proportions look a lot better. Looks like it's in great shape from here...

As I said the paint isn’t perfect. It’s a older re spray and not a base/clear job. A good polish is in order. But it’s a solid car overall. Once all the fluids get changed and some brake work it’ll be ready for cruising.

The rear end is far too long. That’s my thoughts on why the proportions look off. Top up helps here.

Hmmm...I think I might like that better than the Lightning...dare I ask, how much?  Time to re-up the mtg (unlocks in a few months) - might have to consider, ahem, adding a GTO ragtop to the tally.  ;D

Ask permission or ask for forgiveness?  That is the next big question.

True about the long-ness of those old 60's cars.  So many have trunks you could park a small car in.  But, I think it still looks good, top down or up.

Also, fack you Rev for facking with my brain like this.  Between you and, well all those other turkeys on here actually getting and finding and doing something auto related...I feel empty.  :P ;D :bang:

Answer: a lot! Look at past sales or ended auctions lower in the page.

This is probably considered a #4 condition. The interior is very nice, mechanical needs a bit of attention (some oil leaks and a lifter tick) and as I mentioned the body is straight but paint is a bit tired. That said I’m aiming at $38k.

I’m happy to report I’ve found a set of OEM wheels. Not from a 66, but nobody but a real Pontiac nut will notice.
