Well the P5 went to a good home. A friend's kid needed a decent car and he's now the proud owner.
To compensate for the space the Mazda left, I "rescued" this 1978 Malibu from the garage its been in since 1993. Like a madman, I slapped a battery in it, checked the fluids, and drove the 110 km highway trip home in -19. We made it! This car is as old as I am, sure doesn't seem like this style was
that long ago, 78 was the first year of this small Malibu (these were the cars that rear windows did not open) and they built the Malibu until 1983, the Olds version lived the longest, 1988 was it's last year. Certainly a simple car, it's only options being dual sport mirrors, AM radio, rear defog, and a tilt wheel. It's powered by a small block 305.
