Smudging... ;D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGCIGEUB32M  ;D

LOL...no, smudging is when someone who owns horses sets a wet moldy old bale on fire to keep the flies off the horses.  It just smoulders - doesn't actually full on burn. Though that might be cool to watch.  The horses stand in the smoke...but the smell is something awful.  It's like garbage and wet straw...their neighbours must love them.

Got stuck behind a thirty year old Mercedes Diesel in rush hour traffic tonight. The rear of the car was so covered in soot, you couldn't read the nameplate. Owners of those sh*tboxes should be forced to stick their nose up the tailpipe and breath deeply!  >:(

^^^  Something wrong with it, and yes, it should be off the road.  They run dirty, but not so much that the cars are soot-covered.  It's broken and should be grounded.

today i have had three "leads" on used cars all turn out to be invalid e-mails. who the hell bothers to click on a vehicle, submit any information only to leave a fake e-mail?

i'm not a template guy, so i actually look at the car, workout the numbers, and send an individual response to each request. so getting it kicked back really sucks... screws with my closing ratios and all that, wastes my time, and knocks me out of any type of rotation for getting leads...
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

Air, Sorry to hear and kind of know what's like, had that for close to a year a long time ago, comes back infrequently and for very short periods, thank god. I remember one my first business lunches with the boss, it was hard following the conversation when it felt like my brain was sloshing around and waves of nausea hitting me.

I wish I had a solution for you. Doctors were no help. Time seemed to be the only help, that and not moving!

That is truly horrible.  A hangover without the fun part of the equation.

The last week it been more  frequent than it has been in months
Still it not anything like my wife has been go though with her Vestibular Disorder
Where her nerve that senses balance in the left ear was destroyed, and now only uses her right ear for balance , she is only  about 50% recovered

I had one incident of vertigo about a year or so ago.  Thought it was another a-fib.  Felt the same...not fun.  I don't envy you.   :-\
Had my hearing tested.  Hearing of almost a child. (my wife would argue that but how many wouldn't?)
Yet I have constant tinnitus.  I ignore it best I can. Which is pretty good...hell I'm ringing right now but I don't care.
Sent me to a specialist in the city, told me to look at a spot on the wall and shook my head from side to side.  IIRC he said all I can do is wait for it to get worse.  Gee...thanks.  Guess I can thank my lucky stars they didn't have to test me further, which he said was torture.  I could drive home.  Hasn't happened since.

When the wife went to the ENT , they test her hearing and it was good , funny how that can be good but she lost her balanced on the left side
Tinnitus is a :censor: to have , going on 12 years now

The key fob for the X5 is much larger than the fob for my old ML or even our 2011 328. More importantly, the buttons don't seem to be protected by having ridges around them and seem very sensitive. Having the fob in your pants pocket with other keys, change, pocket knife etc will easily depress a button on the fob. I have found the rear hatch open in the garage several times and have had the panic alarm go off a bunch more.  Neither happened in six years of owning the ML.  >:(
Old Jag convertible...one itch I won't have to scratch again.

I (briefly) listed my 15' Boston Whaler on Kijiji back around the end of July. The ad was only active for about a week but I'm still getting scam calls from US area codes (mostly Las Vegas) asking if it's still available. ::)

People that let their dogs hang out the window while driving. Amazing how they will go on about how much they love their dog and would be crushed without them yet they do this.

If you have a spare plug (who doesn't on a 2 stroke  :rofl2:) pull the plug cap and insert a spare, ground it and turn it over.  If no spark, then me thinks CDI.

3 cylinder Yami?

1996ish Evinrude 35hp triple

I'll grab some tools from home and have time to look at it on the weekend.  Hopefully it's just a broken wire and not a stator or power-pack (CDI)

Hard to work on it when it's in the water, might have to pull it out on the trailer.

Got it working.  It was the power-pack.
Local dealer wanted $530CAD, got one out of jetskiplus.com in Missouri for $260USD delivered.  Happy to hear it fire up, it's  always a fingers-crossed thing with electronics.  Spoke to a boat mechanic and he said they were great motors, except for the oil-injection which everyone immediately removes and the power-packs, which can be very troublesome.

So I send the Highlander to Canmore with the kid.  No problem, she'll take care of it, and I can drive the Miata for a couple of weeks.

Is it snowing here today?

Of course!!
