Too true, end of summer sadness is a very common thing.

I get that feeling more in the late fall (end of Oct/early Nov)....end of season,approaching winter,end of another year sort of thing. I always get rather sad/nostalgic.

Wasn't paying much attention yesterday.  Went for a long run in the morning, and then a quick trip to the weight room in the late afternoon, and ended up driving home at 5:15pm.  UGH.  Stupid rush hour.  I'm not sure how anyone copes with being in the workforce wasting so much of their lives sitting in traffic.  I must have blocked that part out of my memories - though I haven't commuted into Edmonton since 1999, so maybe it was better then.

I have about a 25 minute drive to work everyday....its actually not that bad. Driving to downtown everyday, thats a "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" kind of madness.

Going from a 20 minute walk to work to a 20 minute bus ride to work took some adjusting, but I realize that's nothing in the larger scheme of things, especially when you consider the bus isn't stuck in traffic.  It just takes that long for the bus to get downtown from our neighbourhood.

Not on topic, but I recently watched a Bolly-wood film where the guy that got killed came back as a fly to avenge his death. And get his girl back.  Yes, a fly.
