My wife was looking for a rental car for her upcoming trip to Quebec. She and her mom are going to drive around for four days. I thought a Hyundai Elantra for $390 was a fine choice, but nope: "It's too small."
WTF? For two people and four days worth of stuff? Okay, then, how about the Chevy Malibu for $410? Nope, "It's still too small.
So she ended up spending $630 on a Jeep Grand Cherokee because it's an SUV and "safer."
The wife end up with a JC as a rental last year in Regina , she was also with the MIL, they rented a small CUV , but all they hard was a Wrangler or JC , so they took the JC
The had to buy a step stoop for the MIL to get into it, she has Parkinson
The tranny also went in neutral when she was driving on the highway,
After this trip the JC was off the shopping list
