Tailgaters. I mean, really? Why? Don't you ever wonder why your car insurance is so expensive in Ontario?

If you don’t wanna be tailgated then get out of the way...always been my rule but some people insist on driving at or below the speed limit on the passing line.

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

My wife was looking for a rental car for her upcoming trip to Quebec. She and her mom are going to drive around for four days. I thought a Hyundai Elantra for $390 was a fine choice, but nope: "It's too small."

WTF? For two people and four days worth of stuff? Okay, then, how about the Chevy Malibu for $410? Nope, "It's still too small.

So she ended up spending $630 on a Jeep Grand Cherokee because it's an SUV and "safer."  :banghead:

Yes. Because insurance companies are greedy.

Ontario is the safest place to drive in North America.

The only way this is acceptable is if the MIL paid for the rental....

^^ MIL drives a Mazda 3, so I don't think she cares.

And, yeah, my wife loves the Yukon. She drives the GTI around town, but hates taking it on the highway: too dangerous.  ::)

The wife end up with a JC as a rental last year in Regina , she was also with the MIL, they rented a small CUV , but all they hard was a Wrangler or JC , so they took the JC
The had to buy a step stoop for the MIL to get into it, she has Parkinson
The tranny also went in neutral when she was driving on the highway,
After this trip the JC was off the shopping list

There is nowhere left in town to get an old fashioned "diner" style hamburger and fries for lunch.  :(

In Fredericton?  I forget the name of it now, but there was a fantastic little place that served the best burgers, hot turkey sandwiches and fries when I was there.  They seemed to be doing good business back then anyway.

Nope, I'm in SJ. If I want to drive an hour there is still Carman's in St Stephen

So you're looking for a greasy spoon joint?

Surely there's a burger joint in town? Unfortunately they probably charge $15 for a burger I bet.

Next time you're in Fredericton try the Diner Burger at 540 Kitchen & Bar.

Probably closest thing would be AJ's over on the west side.
