Company that doesn't change the empty TP roll.

Among the everyday irritants that one can face, very few are worse than discovering there's no TP after a #2...   >:(

this morning... no tp after i sat down... reach over to where the stash is kept... empty as well (keep the main bulk of it in my basement) well that sucks... luckily i have kids, so wipes are aplenty in the house.... it is empty as well! luckily the spare stash has some there and is reachable (sorry for the details)... finish and replace stock.

after the shower, go to get a coffee and wanted to chug it in a hurry, so a bit of milk was in order... open the fridge and the jug is not there. it's on the counter empty... a bag of milk is in the drawer, but my wife didn't refill it for some reason.so now i think i might need some sweetening to stay sane and wouldn't ya know it, sugar is empty. get it done/refilled and enjoy my coffee.

kids wake up and need to do their morning ritual.i already replaced wipes i know, so i should be in the clear. after the kids do their toilet stuff though, the soap at their sink is empty, so i grab the refill and get that taken care of.

such minor things, but when they all happen at once, it *really* makes you think that today just isn't going to be a good day.
i used to be addicted to soap, but i'm clean now

Bags of milk, eh. I remember those when we had home delivery in the 70's. Haven't seen them for decades though.

A summer cold.....at least I think it's a cold....mostly in my chest (terrible coughing fits), headache and a slight fever.

Maybe it's the plague.  :(

Within the last two or three years, I know people here still had it.  And one neighbor still had weekly visits from the drycleaner last year.

I remember as a kid, there was the milkman, the bread man, the dry cleaner/laundry, all those delivery/pickup services that came on regular rounds.

Stomach flu.  Was off work yesterday and today.  Will be in tomorrow.  So far I have avoided the dreaded summer cold.

Starter on the 3er called it quits today. Had to get it flat-bedded to the shop. Pricey repair. That's life with an older car I guess.

The good: I have my bike to get around, so minimal disruption to life. Towing was covered under my AMEX card and was done in 30min. The shop should be able to get the the job done tomorrow (it's a b*tch on the E90).

In the manual and everything. Yeah it was cheap and took 10 min, but come on, I thought that spark plugs are 150k km on your run of the mill commuter toaster.

With decent plugs? Sure.

With dimestore FCA stuff? Maybe not.

He was terrified of losing the warranty so he wouldn't let me install anything but the dollar store FCA crap.

What?

Is the FIL a bit....dim?

Or maybe he trusts you more with his daughter than his car!
