The company hired a new accountant. So now, we get to do the same thing all over again as we did a few years ago.
-What's this bill we get every month for? Let me see, flip flip flip, that looks like our 1-800 number, see, it's printed right here? Oh, okay.
-We got a payment direct deposited from xxx. Do you know what customer that is? Let me see last month's bank reconciliation. See, it's shown as YYYY. Oh, okay.
Is customer xyz the same as customer xyk? no, they're separate companies, but owned by the same group. You have to keep them separate, they are separate corporate entities.
Honestly, what do they teach accountants? How not to look for any information? I'm not an accountant, you should at least be able to look at the last 15 years of monthly records to see the recurring stuff and figure out what it is. We only have about 200 customers, surely you can keep them figured out!!!!!
