Seeing the Mercedes-AMG C63 wagon medical car at the Canadian Grand Prix is such a tease!

Around here there are a few of these rolling around:

I've often wondered if a Miata would fit through there without issue.  I've thought the same thing...but have resisted so far.  And I don't own a Miata.

I'm pretty sure I've seen video of a car doing that as well, no matter what, that takes balls.  And faith that the sprayer driver isn't going to turn or swerve.

Definitely a "hold my beer and watch this" kind of activity.

So yesterday I woke up early and dragged my arse to the stairs and did two hours of them with my big pack on.  It was raining but felt good except for the mosquitoes, but it was good to be out.  Got home, feeling good, went for a 10km trail run, nothing crazy.  Later in the day, knocked off 25km of double-track on my mountain bike - trails were actually in decent shape considering the recent rain.

Hopped out of bed this morning with the plan to do a long slow distance run - maybe 30k or so.  My legs weren't in on this plan!  WTF?  They basically said "f-you, today is a rest day."

Okay, yesterday was a good sized day but I've done harder days and had no issues putting a series of big days together - bigger than yesterday for sure.

F-you legs.  I'm not getting older, so get used to it.

I had a hilarious snowflake encounter this morning that left me kind of annoyed. Little backstory first, a guy at a machine shop, we've been using for years, and I had built up a good a good rapport and tomorrow is his last day as him and his wife are moving to Saskatoon, wanted to take him out for breakfast. Went there and they had a new receptionist/front counter girl:
Me- "good morning, I am here to see Wayne"
Her-"sorry, I'm new here, who is that??"
Me-" tall black guy"
She got this look on his face like I just called her grandmother the town bicycle and disappeared into the back. Wayne comes out a minute later trying to keep from laughing, grabs me by the arm and drags me outside and starts to try to tell me something but is laughing too hard.
Me- "What the hell is so funny?!?!"
Him- "new girl...came in the back and with a very serious tone just told me that you called me the "B" word hahahahahahha"
Me- "...."B" word....what the hell does that mean...."
Him- "You asked for Wayne, the tall black guy, "B" word"
Me- "was that wrong, I'm sorry if I offended you"
Him-"dude, I'm black and I'm tall....you described me to a tee"
We laughed about it for a while, had a smoke, he didn't have time to go for breakfast, we said our goodbyes and on the drive back to work I was thinking about it, had I really said something offensive?!?! Are we getting to the point that describing someone skin tone is offensive??

No, 99.99% of the population get it.  That said, it's about an appropriate term.  "Yellow" is not when describing people of Japanese, etc, descent.

No, I would have said the tall asian guy in that case.

In that case I would have asked for the indian guy. I've wanted to ask, is brown guy offensive??
